Consistency. Personal attention. Belonging.
Some jobs last a season.
Some relationships last decades.
We have had officers stay for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 28+ years. Behind those years are people who have helped shape O’Linn—and a company that values the people doing the work.
Examples from our team’s history, shared by O’Linn leadership.
People you can reach.
Accessible local leadership and personal attention. A conversation with someone who knows the operation and cares about your assignment.
A standard you can be proud of.
Clear expectations, property-specific training and supervisors who support the work in the field. Professionalism is a shared responsibility.
Investment that goes both ways.
Bring integrity, effort and reliability. We bring guidance, consistency and a team that wants to see you develop.
Three generations. One commitment.
Deep roots.
A future to build.
O’Linn began in 1981 with Richard “Dick” O’Linn Sr. and his son Richard. In 1986, the Palm Springs office opened with Dick Sr., Richard, Kim O’Linn and Bill Morris.
Today, the family’s commitment continues through local leadership, long-standing relationships and the officers who represent us every day. Joining O’Linn means becoming part of a story still being written in the Coachella Valley.

The O’Linn standard
Real responsibility.
High expectations.
This is attentive, professional security. We expect our officers to care about their post, the people they serve and the reputation they share with the entire O’Linn Family.
Stay alert. Be present.
No sleeping on post. No personal-phone distraction while responsible for an assignment. Pay attention to the people and conditions around you.
Use judgment. Show respect.
Treat residents, guests, coworkers and the public with dignity. Communicate calmly and follow the property’s procedures.
Document what happened.
Write clear, accurate reports. Capture useful details and raise concerns promptly. Integrity includes what you put in the record.
Be someone others can count on.
Arrive ready, wear the uniform properly and communicate with your supervisor. Your preparation affects the entire team.
Learn the property. Develop your judgment.
A stronger officer.
A stronger future.
Start with the assignment in front of you: learn the procedures, communicate clearly, write useful reports and respond professionally. Property-specific videos and field coaching help turn expectations into habits.
Considering law enforcement?
Security can be a place to develop observation, communication, reliability and report writing while exploring a future in local policing. We value people who take their growth seriously.
Each police agency sets its own hiring and training requirements. Security employment does not guarantee a police position or replace required academy training.
